My primary artistic inspiration comes from nature - the strength, beauty, and depth I discover in trees, roots, water, sky and birds.
I began drawing and painting as a child growing up in Alaska, and earned a BA of Fine Art from Western Washington University. I work mostly in watercolor and alcohol ink. I add India ink to my paintings with sticks from the ground to create my freestyle line work.
My graphic design work reflects my connection with my clients. Capturing their vision and translating that into effective design that elevates their business excites me.
